last journal entry was a story I accidentally entered in the journal, in case you wondered. Ive been staying up all night lately. I like the darkness and the quiet that lets you hear even the smallest noises clearly. it helps me think, which is not always a good idea, but I love the clarity silence brings to my thoughts.

"He awoke in the ashes of a dead city. The cruel sun glared, showing neither pity nor mercy. He shook himself, it was no dream. A thought crossed his mind. Maybe he should move? Nah. what would be the point? he had nowhere to go and nothing to do. His attempts to find shelter had failed, so the exposure to the elements would kill him soon enough and if he survived that, hunger and radiation poisoning would finish the job. Perhaps death would be better than surviving in this blasted hell-hole. All around him tangled wreckage lay strewn across the ground. Even in the heart of the city, no structures still stood.
